This Contract Is With Bc Timber Sales In The Kootenay Business Area, And The Project Consists Of 2.8Km Of New Road Construction And The Installation Of One 18M Composite Deck/Steel Girder Bridge And One 15M Pre Cast Concrete Slab Bridge. The Road Construction Involves All Phases Of Road Construction Including Timber Cut And Removal, End Haul, Drill And Blast Rock, And Surfacing. There Is Significant Drill And Blast Rock On This Job. It Is Strongly Recommended That Prospective Bidders Carefully Review Insurance Requirements As Set Out In Schedule B.Timing And Scheduling Considerationsdue To Migratory Bird Constraints The Right Of Way Falling Must Be Completed Outside Of The April 23 To August 1 Restriction Period Or A Walk Through Will Need To Be Completed To Determine If There Are Nesting Migratory Birds.
