Tenders are invited for Procurement of Furniture required for New Railway Headquarters and Train Control Centre Building at Maradana Sri Lanka Railways. 2. Bidding will be conducted through the Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure under the National Competitive Bidding method. 3. Eligible bidders should be registered under the Department of Registrar of Companies and have a valid registration under the ICTAD-SP1. Other qualifications and requirements are included in the bidding document. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below on working days from 20.05.2026 to 11.06.2026 between 9.00 a.m. 3.00 p.m. and may obtain a complete set of bidding documents printed in English by submitting a written request to the Project Director upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 35,000.00 in cash or by bank draft. 5. Sealed bid documents with bid security of the value stated in the bidding document should be sent to the following address so as to reach them on or before the closing date of bids (2.00 p.m. on 11.06.2026). The bid security should be valid for more than 28 days from the date of bid validity. 6. Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall be rejected. 7. Pre-bid meeting will be held on 26.05.2026 at 10.30 a.m. at the Project Management Unit, Colombo Suburban Railway Project (CSRP), No. 217, Cotta Road, Colombo 08, Sri Lanka. Prospective bidders may attend at their own expense. 8. Bids must be valid for 91 days from the deadline for submission of bids. 9. The bidder shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the Bids and the Employer shall not be responsible or liable for those costs, regardless of the conduct or outcome of the bidding process.
