PURPOSE The purpose of this request is to procure and install canopies for two (2) municipal vehicles to enhance asset protection, operational efficiency, and security of tools and equipment. 2. VEHICLE DETAILS Make: Isuzu Model: D-Max Engine: 1.9 DDi Diesel Configuration: Single Cab Quantity: 2 Vehicles 3. SCOPE OF SUPPLY The appointed service provider shall: Supply and install two (2) heavy-duty canopies compatible with the above vehicle specification Ensure canopies are fully fitted and secured to manufacturer standards Provide all necessary brackets, fittings, and installation materials 4. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Canopies must meet the following requirements: Compatible with Isuzu D-Max 1.9 DDi Single Cab load bin Constructed from high-durability material (e.g., aluminium or reinforced composite) Lockable rear door with secure key system Side access panels/windows (lockable) Weatherproof and dust-resistant sealing Interior lighting (preferably LED) Roof load capability suitable for municipal operations (e.g., ladders) Corrosion-resistant finish suitable for coastal conditions (Richards Bay environment) 5. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS Fitment must be completed at municipal premises or supplier workshop No damage to vehicle body or structure during installation All installations must comply with safety and manufacturer standards Supply Chain Management Unit 5 6. WARRANTY Minimum 12-month warranty on canopy and installation Warranty to cover defects, fittings, and structural integrity 7.
