Drinking-Water Distribution – Framework Agreement For The Distribution Of Drinking Water By Water Boat To Inland Shipping In The Port Of Antwerp. In 2023, +/- 34,150 M³ Of Water Was Supplied To 5,103 Ships. In 2024, +/- 35,325M³ Of Water Was Supplied To 4,947 Ships. In 2025, +/- 37,200 M³ Of Water Was Supplied To 5,104 Ships. The Assignment Includes The Supply Of Drinking Water With Water Boats To Inland Vessels That Pay Inland Shipping Dues For Their Stay In The Port Area Of ​​Antwerp. The Drinking Water Is Supplied By Water-Link On Behalf Of Poab And Made Available To The Contractor Via High-Flow Drinking Water Taps On The Left Bank (K1622) And On The Right Bank (K401). The Water Is Supplied Exclusively As Drinking Water; It Is Not Permitted To Fill Ballast Tanks Or To Supply Drinking Water For Other Purposes. The Contractor Is Responsible For Receiving, Processing And Planning Requests For The Supply Of Drinking Water. All Deliveries Are Charged By Poab To The Customer (Owner Or Third Party Payer). For Each Drinking Water Load, Drinking Water Supply And Drinking Water Flushing, The Contractor Registers All Data Required By The Online Application “Port Dues Portal”. Poab Makes This Application Available To The Contractor. The Drinking Water Flushes Are Charged By Poab At The Price Of Drinking Water As Published In The Tariff Regulations For Inland Shipping. Incomplete Or Incorrect Registrations Lead To Reclaiming The Price Of The Drinking Water Supplied. This Means That The Difference Between The Amount Of Drinking Water Taken By The Water Boats And The Registered Quantities Is At The Expense Of The Contractor. Simultaneously With The Execution Of This Assignment, Poab Will Provide A Permit System So That Bunker Ships Or Water Boats Can Supply Drinking Water To Inland Vessels As An Additional Service. Within This Permit System, The Same Quality Requirements Must Be Met As Included In This Assignment.
