The Town Of Morinville Invites Qualified Contractors To Submit Bids For Roadway Improvements Along East Boundary Road, The Shared Boundary Roadway Between The Town Of Morinville And Sturgeon County.The Project Limits Extend From The 96 Avenue Intersection (South Limit) To Highway 642 (North Limit). The Work Generally Includes Upgrading The Existing Rural Gravel Roadway Cross Section, Currently Consisting Of Shallow Roadside Ditches, To A Hybrid Urban/Rural Cross Section Featuring Curb And Gutter On The West Side Of The Roadway And Ditching On The East Side. The Project Also Includes Raising The Roadway Elevation To Accommodate Storm Infrastructure Improvements And Enhance Existing Surface Drainage Conveyance To Its Intended Outlet.Also Included In This Tender Is The Highway 642 Crosswalk Work, Identified As A Provisional Item. This Portion Of The Work, Outlined In Schedule F Of The Schedule Of Quantities, May Be Adjusted Depending On Whether Tender Pricing Aligns With The Town’S Approved Project Budget.
