Lifeboats – Replacement Procurement Of Emergency Boat For The Zollikon Sea Rescue Service. The Municipality Of Zollikon Has Been Ensuring Safety On Lake Zurich With Its Own Sea Rescue Service For Over 100 Years. The Currently Used Lifeboat “Nautilus” Has Been In Use Since 1991 And Has Reached The End Of Its Economic And Technical Lifespan. Spare Parts For The Original Drive Are No Longer Available And A Comprehensive Renovation Would Involve Considerable Risks And Follow-Up Costs. The Local Council Has Therefore Decided To Purchase A Completely New Modern Sea Rescue Boat And To Initiate The Necessary Public Tender. It Is Intended To Be A Workboat That Can Be Used All Year Round, Around The Clock, In All Weathers And All Visibility Conditions For Patrol Service And Event Management. It Is Intended To Provide The Crew And Passengers With The Necessary Weather Protection Against Sun, Wind, Rain And Frost. The Equipment And Operational Materials Carried Should Be Able To Be Stored In A Practical And Material-Friendly Manner. The Boat Is Used From The Zollikon Location On Lake Zurich All Year Round. 150 To 2000 Operating Hours Can Be Expected Annually. The Boat Must Have Very Solid Seaworthiness And Be Ideal For The Following Uses: - Control And Patrol Trips - Sea Distress Or Sea Rescue Operations - Search Operations - Diving Operations - Evacuations (Transport Of People And Material) - Operations In The Most Adverse Conditions; Storms And Waves, Driftwood - Rescue Of People And Objects - Towing Of Damaged Vehicles - Transport, Support And Escort Trips.
