Norce Works Closely With Business And The Public Sector To Create Research-Based Innovation And Social Benefit. Norce Has Several Locations Nationally. Deliveries Under This Agreement Must Be Able To Be Made Efficiently Across Norces Locations (Tromsø, Bergen, Stavanger, Haugesund, Oslo, Kristiansand And Grimstad), Through A Combination Of Local Presence And Digital Formats. Arrangements Must Be Made For Seamless Follow-Up Of Researchers, Project Managers And Administration, Regardless Of Geographical Location. The Purpose Is To Enter Into A Framework Agreement With One Total Supplier (With The Possibility Of Using Subcontractors See Point 2.6) Of Commercialization Services, Which Will Strengthen Norces Ability To Contribute To Identifying, Assessing, Evaluating And Developing Research Results. The Agreement Will Supplement Norces Internal Innovation And Business Development Function And Ensure Professional Handling Of Rights, Market Clarification And Scaling. * The Framework Agreement Is Used For Individual Assignments As Needed (Call-Off). * Norce Retains Primary Responsibility For Idea Capture, Initial Dialogue With Researchers, Receipt Of Innovation Notices (Dofi) And Initial Rights Clarifications. * The Supplier Has The Main Responsibility In The Later Stages Of The Commercialization Process. Final Division Of Roles And Responsibilities Is Agreed Per Assignment. Norces Research Areas: · Energy And Technology (E.G. Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, Digitalisation/Ai, Sensors And Robotics). · Climate And Environment (E.G. Monitoring, Modelling, Natural And Environmental Data, Sustainable Materials And Processes). · Health (Eg, Medtech, E-Health, Decision Support, Diagnostics, Near-Pharmaceutical Technologies). · Society (Eg Emergency Preparedness, Welfare, Public Innovation, Data And Policy Driven Service Development). · Ocean And Bioeconomy (Eg, Marine Biotechnology, Aquaculture, Environmental Monitoring, Sensor Technology). The Supplier Must Be Able To Handle The Commercialization Of Both Physical Technology And Software/Data-Based Results (Including Open Source Models, Data And License Regimes).
