Quotation Are Invited For Ipc-Wash Kits. Water For People Background: Water For People Is An International Non-Governmental Organization (Ngo) That Works With People And Partners To Develop Innovative And Long-Lasting Solutions To The Water, Sanitation, And Hygiene Problems In Developing Countries. The Organization Strives To Continually Improve, Experiment With Promising New Ideas, And Leverage Resources To Multiply Its Impact. The Water For People/Isoko YUbuzima Project Has Secured Funding From The U.S. Government To Support The Implementation Of The Isoko YUbuzima Wash Project Across 9 Districts In Rwanda: Kayonza, Nyagatare, Gatsibo, Nyanza, Ngororero, Kamonyi, Gasabo, Nyarugenge, And Kicukiro From 2021 To 2026. The Purpose Of This Project Is To Increase And Sustain Equitable Access To Safe Drinking Water And Sanitation Services, Thereby Improving Health Outcomes And Contributing To A Strong Economy. In Addition, The Project Strengthens Water, Sanitation, And Hygiene (Wash) Systems Within Healthcare Facilities As A Critical Component Of Infection Prevention And Control (Ipc). One Of The Project Objectives Is To Ensure Safe And Reliable Water Supplies From The Source To The Point Of Use, Including Within Healthcare Facilities. However, Despite Routine Cleaning, Gaps Persist In The Effectiveness And Consistency Of Environmental Hygiene. Conventional Visual Inspection Methods Are Limited In Their Ability To Objectively Assess Cleanliness, As Many Contaminants, Including Organic Matter And Bodily Fluids, Are Not Visible Under Normal Lighting Conditions. To Address These Gaps, The Introduction Of Adenosine Triphosphate (Atp) Bioluminescence And Uv Torch Monitoring Provides A Practical And Evidence-Based Approach To Strengthening Environmental Hygiene Practices. These Tools Enable The Detection Of Otherwise Invisible Biological Residues And Fluorescent Contamination, Offering Immediate And Objective Feedback On Cleaning Performance And Supporting Improved Infection Prevention And Control. Water For People, Through The Isoko YUbuzima Project, Has Committed To Procuring Portable Adenosine Triphosphate (Atp) Bioluminescence Devices And Uv Torches And Gels Kits For The Ministry Of Health To Support Environmental Hygiene Monitoring In Targeted Hospitals. This Initiative Aims To Strengthen Routine Cleaning And Disinfection Practices By Providing Objective, Real-Time Feedback On Surface Cleanliness, Thereby Enhancing Infection Prevention And Control (Ipc) Efforts And Improving The Overall Quality Of Care In Healthcare Facilities. This Approach Provides A Practical And Evidence-Based Means Of Strengthening Environmental Hygiene Practices. These Tools Enable The Detection Of Otherwise Invisible Biological Residues And Fluorescent Contamination, Offering Immediate And Objective Feedback On Cleaning Performance And Supporting Improved Infection Prevention And Control. In Light Of The Above, We Request Interested And Qualified Companies To Submit Bids/Quotations For The Supply Of Portable Adenosine Triphosphate (Atp) Bioluminescence Its Swabs And Uv Torch And Uv Gels, Spray Kits Listed Below.
