Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Moor Regeneration Drumlin Landscape Nossikon-Sulzbach, Uster. Planner Performance Sia Phases 31-33.. The Nossikon–Sulzbach Drumlin Landscape Is A Characteristic Hilly Landscape South Of Uster, Characterized By Long, Wooded Drumlins And Moist Valleys With Natural Streams. On The Sunny Southern Slopes There Are Hedges, Groups Of Trees And Species-Rich Dry And Semi-Dry Grassland. The Area Includes Several Protected Areas, Including A Fen Of National Importance, Wetlands From The Nature Conservation Inventory And A Cantonally Protected Geomorphological Landscape. The Wetlands Have Been Under Protection Since 1993, Supplemented By Buffer Zones And Contractually Secured Consolidation Areas. Despite Extensive Cultivation, However, Some Areas Do Not Achieve The Desired Ecological Quality: There Are Species-Poor Fat Meadows, Drained Or Flooded Areas, A Culverted Stream Section And A Fen In Need Of Hydrological Renovation. A Pond And A Former Fish Farm Also Need To Be Ecologically Upgraded. In Order To Clarify The Need For Action, Vegetation Mapping, Potential Analyzes And Faunistic Studies Were Carried Out In 2025. In-Depth Hydrological Clarifications Are Also Available For The Fen. The Nature Conservation Agency (Fns) Of The Canton Of Zurich Is Planning The Ecological Upgrading And Renovation Of The Affected Areas.
