Tenders are invited for Supply of Steel Cupboard Purchase of office equipment (household furniture) required for Provincial, Zonal and Divisional Education offices under Provincial Council Development Grants (PCDG) -2026 Bid Security (LKR): 45000 Tender Form Fee (Rs.): 3500 Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Chief Accountant, North Central Provincial Department of Education (Tel. No. - 025-2223432) during office hours (between 09.00 a.m and 03.00 p.m.) from 30th April 2026 to 21st May 2026 and may inspect the bid documents free of charge. They may also purchase complete sets of bid documents prepared in English upon submission of a written application to the Provincial Director of Education and payment of a non-refundable tender form fee (as indicated in the table above) to Shroff within the relevant period. Bid documents contain a complete description of the details and quantities of the goods to be purchased, as well as the validity period of the bids, qualifications and other relevant conditions and instructions. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee to the value specified in the table above, which should be an unconditional bank guarantee issued by a commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Alternatively, it can be paid in cash, and the relevant bank guarantee should be valid until the date specified in the bid documents and should be transferable within the country. This bidding will be conducted for 10 projects (contracts) (as indicated in the table above) and bidders will have the opportunity to bid for all ten projects or for one project or for a single item in the projects. Duly completed bid documents prepared in two copies (one project) as "Original" and "Duplicate" and the two copies placed in separate sealed envelopes, and both the envelopes inserted in a single sealed envelope. "Purchase of Desktop Computers - 50 and UPS Machines - 50 - 2026", should be marked on the top left corner of envelopes enclosing bids for projects under serial No 01 the project indicated under serial number 02 should be marked "Purchase of Desktop Computers - 100 and UPS Machines - 100 - 2026", the project indicated under serial number 03 should be marked "Purchase of Digital Photocopy Machines - 50 - 2026", and the project indicated under serial number 04 should be marked "Purchase of All In One Desktop Computers - 50, UPS Machines - 50, Laptop Computers - 40, Multimedia Projectors - 02 and Printers - 11 - 2026". "Indicated under serial number 04" "Purchase of Office Equipment (Furniture) - 2026" under Sub-No. 05, "Purchase of Secondary School Laboratory Equipment - 2026" under Sub-No. 06, "Purchase of Primary School Sports Equipment - 2026" under Sub-No. 07, "Purchase of Secondary School Sports Equipment - 2026" under Sub-No. 08, "Purchase of Primary School Aesthetic Equipment - 2026" under Sub-No. 09, and "Purchase of Secondary School Aesthetic Equipment - 2026" under Sub-No. 10, along with the relevant project number of envelopes enclosing bids. All bids (duly completed) should be sent at or before 02.00 pm on 22.05.2026 by registered post to the Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee, Provincial Department of Education, North Central Province, Anuradhapura or deposited in the box kept in the office of the Chief Accountant of the North Central Province, Education Department. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2.30 p.m on 13.05.2026 at the North Central Provincial Department of Education. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened immediately after closing of acceptance of bids at 2.00 p.m on 22.05.2026 and the bidder or his authorized representative may attend the bid opening. Procurement Committee of North Central Provincial Department of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids received at any time prior to the award of the contract, and the decision of the committee shall be final and shall hold any binding on it.
