Tenders are invited for Rehabilitation of MahilankulamTank Period of Construction 4 Months Amount of Bid Security (LKR) 175,000.00 Officer to assist Site Visit & Contact No. Site Visit Date & Time Divisional Irrigation Engineer, Murunkan 023-2050352 06.05.2026 At 09.00 a.m. This bid is open to all eligible bidders who wish to respond subject to restrictions noted in the bidding document and shall meet the requirements of CIDA registration as scheduled in table above. Further, interested eligible bidders may obtain more information from Director of Irrigation, Office of the Director of Irrigation, Mannar Region, Murunkan and also inspect the bidding documents free of charge at the same address during office hours from 9.00am to 03.00pm on working days (Tel:023-2050591) A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Director of Irrigation, Office of the Director of Irrigation, Mannar Region, Murunkan from 29/04/2026 until 20/05/2026 from 09.00am to 03.00pm upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs.3,500.00 for each document. The method of payment will be by cash at Shroff/Accounts Division, Office of the Director of Irrigation, Mannar Region, Murunkan. Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the Office of the Director of Irrigation, Mannar Region, Murunkan 06/05/2026 at 2.00pm. Presence is not mandatory, but interested bidders are encouraged to attend. Bidders should arrange their own site visit prior to the Pre-Bid meeting as mentioned in the above table. Bids must be delivered to the address given below not later than 2.00pm on 21/05/2026. Bids will be opened immediately after the closing time at the Office of the Director of Irrigation, Mannar Region, Murunkan. Bidders or authorized representatives of Bidders are allowed to be present at the opening of the bids. Please note that electronic bids shall not be accepted. Bidders shall be aware that late bids will not be accepted under any circumstance and will be returned unopened at the written request and cost of the bidder.
