Bids Are Invited For Service Supply Approach Transportation in Chile

This Tender Corresponds To The Contracting Of The Supply Of 28 Operational Buses For The Provision Of The School Transportation Service To Bring Students From Various Points Of The Puente Alto Commune To The Educational Establishments Managed By The Puente Alto Municipal Corporation And Vice Versa, Considering The Round Trip Journeys. For These Purposes, The Service Considers The Operation Of 13 School Transportation Lines, Intended For The Transfer Of Students From Different Sectors Of The Commune To The Respective Educational Establishments. Each Line Corresponds To An Educational Establishment And May Include One Or More Buses For The Execution Of The Associated Routes. In Total, The Service Considers The Operation Of 28 Buses Intended To Cover The Different School Transportation Lines. The Distribution Of Buses By Line And Educational Establishment Is Detailed In Technical Annex No. 1 Of These Bases. Of The Total Number Of Routes Indicated, Two Correspond To Additional Short Routes Called “B” Routes, Which Will Be Executed Consecutively By The Same Bus That Makes The Main Route. This Modality Will Be Applied To The Services Corresponding To Las Palmas Basic School And Los Andes Basic School, Specifically With Respect To Routes N°3A And N°3B. Due To The Above, The Service Considers A Total Of 30 Operational Routes, Which Will Be Executed Through The Operation Of 28 Buses, In Accordance With The Programming Defined By The Corporation. The Indicated Routes Will Be Of A Referential Nature And Are Detailed In Technical Annex No. 1 Of These Technical Bases, And May Be Adjusted Or Modified By The Technical Service Inspection, Hereinafter Its, When The Operational Needs Of The Service So Require, Without Altering The Nature Of The Contract. Likewise, The Successful Bidder Of One Or More Lines Must Keep 1 Replacement Bus Available, Intended Exclusively To Cover Contingencies, Mechanical Failures, Maintenance Or Other Situations That May Affect The Continuity Of The Service. Said Vehicle Will Not Be Part Of The Scheduled Routes Nor Will It Generate Additional Payment For The Corporation. The Tender Will Be Carried Out Under The Multiple Award Modality; Where Each Bidder May Submit An Offer For One Or More Lines, And Each Line May Be Awarded To A Different Bidder, Or More Lines To The Same Bidder.
