Project: Tender21725 - Construction Services For The Hawkesbury Waterfront Landfill Site Final Cover . As Described In Greater Detail In The Request For Bids (Rfb), The Ministry Is Seeking The Provision Of Construction Services To Complete The Final Closure Of The Hawkesbury Waterfront Landfill Site Under Environmental Compliance Approval (Eca) No. A470102. The Site Is Located Northwest Of The Intersection Of Main Street And Highway 34 (Mcgill Street) In The Town Of Hawkesbury, Ontario. The Work Includes The Supply Of All Labour, Materials, Equipment, Engineering Oversight, Testing, Monitoring, And Reporting Necessary To Complete The Final Closure Of The Site In Accordance With The Approved Final Cover Construction Technical Specifications And Drawings, And All Applicable Laws, Regulations, Approvals, And Standards. Scope Of Work As Described In Greater Detail In The Rfb, And Without Limiting The Generality Of The Definition Of “Work” In Section Gc.1.04 Of Schedule 6 Within The Referenced Rfb Documents, The Term “Work” Includes The Following Items, Not Necessarily In This Sequence And Not Limited To The Following: 1. Mobilization And Demobilization, Including Establishment And Removal Of Temporary Site Facilities, Access Roads, And Haul Routes 2. Completion Of Required Surveys, Site Layout, Benchmarks, And Preparation Of Record Drawings 3. Development, Implementation, And Maintenance Of A Site‑Specific Health And Safety Plan 4. Development And Implementation Of Environmental Protection Plans, Including Erosion And Sediment Control, Air Quality, Dust, Noise, Traffic Management, And Spill Response 5. Excavation, Handling, And Relocation Of Existing Waste And Interim Cover Materials Within The Landfill Containment Cell 6. Supply And Placement Of Granular Materials And Construction Of Earthworks Required For Final Landfill Grading 7. Supply And Installation Of The Engineered Final Landfill Cover System, Including Geotextile, Geomembrane Liner, Protective Layers, Topsoil, And Hydroseeding 8. Construction Of Perimeter Drainage Ditches And Associated Surface Water Management Features 9. Supply And Installation Of Passive Landfill Gas Vents, Including Associated Seals, Backfill, And Connections To The Final Cover System 10.
