Engineering Design Services For The Construction Of Civil Engineering Works – Dam Strengthening Of The Rhine Flood Dam Rhwd Xxxi Rlp To B35 - Hoai Lph 1-9. The Rhine Flood Dam Rhwd Xxxi Rlp To B35 At The Former Seydewitz Vorwerk (Length Approx. 0.3 Km) No Longer Complies With The Generally Accepted Rules Of Technology And Should Therefore Be Replanned. The Planned Expansion And Renovation Serve To Secure The Settlement Areas And Industrial/Commercial Areas In Rheinsheim Against Flooding During Rhine Floods. The Dam Section To Be Taken Into Account Here Is Approximately At Dam Km 12+100 To 12+400 And Is Bordered By The B35 In The North And The Railway Line In The South. To The West Is The Former Seydewitz Vorwerk Of The Fortress In Germersheim. The Existing Protected Areas Are: Bird Sanctuary, Protected Biotopes And An Adjacent Nature Reserve.
