Washing And Dry-Cleaning Services – Full Textile Care At The Nuremberg Clinic. The Nuremberg Clinic Is One Of The Largest Municipal Hospitals In Germany And Offers The Entire Range Of Maximum Care Services. With 2,233 Beds At Two Locations (North Campus And South Campus) And 8,400 Employees, It Cares For Almost 335,000 Inpatients And Outpatients Per Year. The Clinic Network Includes Two Other Hospitals In The Nürnberger Land District As Well As The Cnopfsche Childrens Hospital Hallerwiese In Nuremberg. In The Following, The Nuremberg Clinic Is Also Referred To As The Client Or Clinic. The Nuremberg Clinic Has Decided To Outsource The Entire Process Of Full Textile Care In The Future. The Process Of Converting From Contract Laundry To Full Textile Supply, Which Begins With This Tender, Is Intended To Take Place Over A Period Of Approximately Two To Three Years In Order To Take Into Account The Size And Complexity Of The Clients Facility. The Nuremberg Clinics Ward Linen Concept Includes A Slim Range Of Bed Linen (Sheets And Covers), Bedding (Duvets And Pillow Inserts), Patient Shirts And Protective Gowns, Baby And Childrens Linen As Well As Terry Towels (Towels, Shower Towels, Etc.). The Area Clothing For The Functional And Operating Areas Corresponds To The State Of The Art. The Nuremberg Clinics Staff Laundry Concept Takes Into Account The Essential Factors Of A Sustainably Functioning Work Clothing Supply And Thus Creates The Prerequisites For The Economical Integration Of Clothing Distribution And Return Systems. These Only Make Economic And Organizational Sense If A Size-Related Pool Supply Is Established. Compliance With The Dress Code (Contingent) Should Be Automatically Monitored By These Systems, Hoarding Of Clothing Should Be Prevented Or Greatly Reduced And Thus Ultimately Enable High Availability With Minimal Effort For Textile Management (Distribution, Setup And Control). With The Commissioning Of The Parent-Child Center (Ekiz) With Obstetric Care On The South Campus, The First Conversion Of The Textile Supply To A Leasing/Rental Linen Supply Will Take Place At The Beginning Of 2027, Which Will Make It Possible To Continuously Control The Flow Of Textile Goods By Means Of Piecemeal Recording And Billing As Well As Issue And Return Systems In The Area And Work Clothing Supply. In A Subsequent Transformation Phase, All Parts Of The Company Will Be Gradually Converted To This Type Of Supply, With The Clinics Own Textiles Being Used Up In Ever Smaller Proportions Until All Service Centers In The Nuremberg Clinic Are Fully Supplied With External Textiles. Further Details Can Be Found Under Point 2. Implementation Phases For The Individual Planned Phases. The Switch To Full Textile Supply Means That The Supply And Disposal Is Pre-Commissioned For Service Purposes
