Construction Work – Offer Of A Full-Scale Solution For Cleaning Pfas And Arsenic In Leachate And Waste Water From Skibstrup Waste Center. The Client Offers A Full-Scale Solution For The Cleaning Of Pfas And Arsenic In Leachate And Waste Water From Skibstrup Waste Center Before Discharge To The Nordky-Stens Renseanlage (Hereafter Generically Referred To As The Cleaning Solution). Skibstrup Waste Center Is Operated By The Ordering Party And Owned By Helsingør Municipality. The Tender Comes As An Extension Of A Completed Lab Research Project And Pilot Tests Followed By A Full-Scale Analysis, All Carried Out With Leachate And Waste Water From Skibstrup Waste Center, Cf. Below. The Ordering Party, In Collaboration With Bioscavenge Aps, Has Carried Out A Number Of Pilot Trials Within The Framework Of The Mudp Polish Grant. The Experiments Demonstrated The Removal Of Pfas22 And Inorganic Arsenic From Leachate And Waste Water Down To Levels Below The Permitted Discharge Limits. Special Resins Reduced Pfas22 Concentrations To Below The Currently Permitted Limit Value Of 100 Ng/L, Where Pfas Were Often Found To Be Below Detection Limits. The Concentration Of Inorganic Arsenic Was Kept Below The Permissible Limit Of 13 Μg/L And Often Close To The Detection Limit Of 0.03 Μg/L. The Pilot Project Has Been In Operation Since 7 May 2025 And Has Cleaned Over 100 M³ Of Leachate And Waste Water With An Average Pfas22 Amount Of Around 2500 Ng/L And A Consumption Of Less Than 100 Kg Of Resins. These Promising Results Indicate Much Higher Pfas Removal Rates At Lower Costs Than The Systems Currently Available On The Market. The Cleaning Solution Must Include A Complete Cleaning System Incl. Pre-Treatment (Including Filtration And Buffer Tank) And Must Ensure That The Treated Waste Water Complies With The Requirements In Connection Guide No. 77 Of August 2025 For The Discharge Of Waste Water Into Seawater. The Clients Preliminary Analyzes Show That, As A Minimum, The Following Substances Must Be Cleaned From Leachate And Waste Water: Pfas24 Is Cleaned Below 44 Ng/L Calculated As Pfoae (Pfoa Equivalents) Pfos Is Cleaned Below 1.3 Ng/L Arsenic Is Cleaned Below 13 Μg/L. The Client Is Basically Responsible For Delivering The Following (The Interfaces Are Expected To Be The Subject Of Discussions During The Negotiations And May Therefore Change In The Tender Process): Foundation For The Purification Solution Piping Power Access Roads. Option 1: The Cleaning Solution Must Be Prepared So That The Following Substances Are Also Cleaned From Leachate And Waste Water: Nickel Is Cleaned Below 16 Μg/L Cobalt Is Cleaned Below 10 Μg/L Sulphate Is Cleaned Below 500 Mg/L Bisphenol A Is Cleaned Below 0.38 Μg/L. The Functionality Contained In Option 1 (I.E. Purification For The Mentioned Substances As Well) Will Be An Additional Purchase During The Contract Period, But The Purification Solution, Which Must Be Delivered Pursuant To This Tender (The Main Service), Must Be Prepared For The Implementation Of The Functionality Contained In Option 1. Option 2: The Ordering Party Wishes (If Possible) That The Purification Solution Ensures Complete Purification Of Leachate And Waste Water In The Long Term, So That The Ordering Party Can Discharge Directly To A Recipient, E.G. To The Nearby Å Knudemoseløbet. A Complete Cleaning Implies That All Environmentally Hazardous Substances
