When The New Bridge Is Finished, The Old One Will Be Demolished. In Addition, A Pedestrian And Cycle Path Will Be Established South Along Hovlandsveien, On Todays National Highway 426. Associated Roads In The Area Will Also Be Upgraded To Ensure An Overall Improvement Of The Infrastructure. New Eigerøy Bridge * New Eigerøy Bridge Will Be Built On The South Side Of The Existing Bridge. When The New Bridge Is Completed, The Old One Will Be Demolished. The New Bridge Is Planned As A Type Of Slab Bridge In Concrete With Blasting Columns With A Length Of Approximately 272 M. * The Bridge Should Have A Typical Total Width Of 13.6 M. * The Sailing Rectangle Should Be (Hxw) 22.5 M By 23.5 M.. Other Constructions * New Culvert Lauåsen Internal Dimensions (Wxh) 3.5 M X 3.1 M * Support Structure Along Hovlandsvegen * Retaining Wall And Support Structure At Hovlandsvegen. * Other Smaller Walls And Support Structures For Which The Design Will Reveal A Need For Pedestrians And Cyclists. * A New Three-Armed Roundabout Will Be Built Along The Stretch And Accessibility. A New Road Will Be Built On The East Side Of The Road Road On The New Bridge.
