Bids Are invited for Hiring of consultancy services for sustaining operations onboard ship taken from traders (STUF) The consultant should be a subject matter expert and has relevant Experience (Qty – One consultant with relevant expertise criteria as mentioned below:-) , Has Undertaken modifications of a similar Merchant Vessel or Ships taken Up From Trade (STUFT) tanker. , Has Experience for inductions/de-induction and re-induction of a ship into the naval service owing to changing requirements of Navy and the Fleet. , Served onboard Indian Naval Workships for a minimum period of 20 years with minimum of two years service onboard tankers. , Has undertaken Astern,Abeam and Crane fueling onboard tankers. , Served as instructor/Training officer at WWT/INWT/Training establishment. , Has good knowledge on safety of life at sea (SOLAS) and various Naval; Seamanship evolutions. , Has deep understanding of organizational work flow of Naval dockyard and merchant tankers for undertaking modifications/augmentation. , Expert advice on planned and condition based preventive maintenance of the unique deck fittings,and seamanship gear , Expert advice on the conduct of evolution conducted at sea which are unique in its arrangements unlike what is normally followed within the navy , Training of personnel at sea for safe and efficient conduct of various evolutions at sea , Expert advice on any critical defect rectification to the rigs/ seamanship gear etc to be carried out at sea , Expert advice on immediate action to be taken in case of an emergency during any evolution at sea
