Tenders are invited for Consultant - Capacity Development Program for ABAAD staff 2026. ABAAD Resource Center for Gender Equality is a UN ECOSOC-accredited organization that aims to achieve gender equality as an essential condition for sustainable social and economic development in the MENA region. ABAAD promotes gender justice through a rights-based approach and works to end gender-based violence (GBV) by providing holistic protection and support services for women and girls, engaging men in positive masculinity, and building institutional and community capacities to advance gender equality and protection. ABOUT THE PROJECT The Promotion of a gender equal and equitable society with and for women and youth in Lebanon is a three-years project funded by The European Regional Development and Protection Program for Jordan and Lebanon (RDPP III) in the Middle East. The projects strategic goal is to establish societies that ensure gender equality and are free of violence, centering efforts on women and girls in all their diversity. By advocating for gender equality, the aim is to effect systemic changes that tackle root causes of discrimination, sexism, and harmful norms that obstruct access to rights based on gender. Women and girls in their diversity are not only the recipients of these efforts but also active participants in shaping this transformation. The understanding of diversity acknowledges that women and girls possess intersecting identities that affect their societal positions and access to rights and power. This strategic objective will be achieved through lobbying, advocacy, and the strengthening of civil society, all guided by a gender-transformative approach (GTA). The GTA focuses on these key components: Amplifying the voices of women and youth, Enhancing the role of young men as allies in this transformation, promoting human rights and the agency of women and girls, Analyzing and countering harmful norms and unequal power relations. Objective To enhance the skills and knowledge of Abaad staff, ensuring improved program delivery, organizational performance, and alignment with strategic priorities. Scope of Work The selected university will: Deliver six core courses (approx. 15 hours each) to 2025 participants per course. Provide qualified instructors and all necessary training materials. Facilitate interactive sessions and practical exercises. Track and report participant engagement and learning outcomes. Courses Introduction to Humanitarian, Development, and Nexus Approaches (SDGs, Sphere, Nexus framework) Planning and Ideation (Project Cycle Management, Logframe Development) Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Finance for NGOs (Budgeting and Financial Management) Proposal Writing Techniques Humanitarian Communication and Advocacy for NGOs Timeline Courses will run sequentially, each completed within one month. Full program to conclude by SeptemberOctober 2026. Deliverables Detailed curriculum and training plan for each course. Trainer CVs and profiles. Training materials and resources. Reports on attendance, participation, and learning outcomes. Qualifications Experience delivering training in humanitarian and development contexts. Expertise in the course topics. Qualified trainers with both practical and academic experience. Ability to provide interactive and participatory sessions.
