1Maintenance Works Will Include Construction Works Consisting In Filling In Defects In The Surface, Maintaining Them In Good Technical Condition, Protecting Them Against Too Rapid Wear, While Maintaining Their Current Purpose. The Works Are Aimed At Maintaining The Roads In Good Technical And Operational Condition. Construction Works Will Be Carried Out In Sections Or In Spots In Places Where There Are Defects, Potholes Or Ruts. 2The Material Scope Is Determined By The Bill Of Quantities And The Outlay Cost Estimate, While The Technology Of The Works Is Determined By The Technical Specification For The Execution And Acceptance Of The Works. Maintenance Includes: A. Cleaning The Repaired Area (Removing Dirt, Chips, Mud, Sod) Along With Removal Or Spreading Outside The Road Crown, B. Possible Cutting Of Sod/Topsoil From The Road Surface, C. Disturbance - Loosening The Surface In The Place Of A Defect/Sink Or Rut To A Depth Of Up To 10 Cm With A Graders Rippers Or A Recycler, D. Possible Re-Profiling Of The Road Surface, E. Mechanical Profiling And Compaction Of The Existing Surface, F. Leveling The Surface With A Mixture Of Crushed Aggregate With A Grain Size Of 0-63 Mm, With An Average Thickness Of 20 Cm, G. Filling The Gaps In The Surface With A Mixture Of Crushed Aggregate With A Grain Size Of 0-31.5 Mm, Together With Refining Fine Aggregate With A Grain Size Of 0-4 Mm With A Pothole Depth Of Up To 7 Cm, H. Profiling And Compacting The Spread Aggregate To The Appropriate Inheritances,I. Possible Repair Of Sunken/Broken Roadsides With A Sand And Gravel Mixture. It Is Recommended To Repair Clusters Of Potholes And Depressions With Sections Of The Length Indicated In The Bill Of Quantities. Technical Parameters: - Traffic Category - Kr1 - Pavement Load - 10 T Per Axle - Designed Speed - 30 Km/H - Road Width - 3.00 - 3.50 M - Slope - Roof Slope, Values 3-4% All Works Should Be Carried Out Adjusting The Height To The Existing Terrain Elevations. Longitudinal Slopes Should Reflect Existing Slopes. The Transverse Inclination Of The Road Is 3.0 – 4.0%. Drainage Of The Repaired Road Sections On The Surface To The Adjacent Forest Area. As Part Of Ongoing Maintenance, It Is Planned To Remove The Humus / Sod Layer (Average Thickness Assumed 10-15 Cm) To The Load-Bearing Soil From The Road Surface. The Excavated Material Obtained In The Process Of Topsoil Removal/Turf Removal Should Be Spread Outside The Road With A 15 Cm Thick Layer, Or Transported To A Place Indicated By The Local Forester Or Investor. All Works Should Be Carried Out In Accordance With The Requirements Of Relevant Standards And While Maintaining The Cross-Section And Longitudinal Profile. Particular Attention Is Paid To The Need To Carry Out Works In A Way That Guarantees The Drainage Of Surface And Groundwater.
