The City Of Herford Intends To Build A New Single-Field Sports Hall On The Site Of The Stiftberg Elementary School In Herford. The Building Offers Space On Two Floors For A Sports Field And The Associated Ancillary Rooms Such As Equipment Rooms, Changing Rooms, Sanitary Areas, Access Areas And Technical Rooms. Due To The Sloping Property And The Schools Very Limited Open Space, The Building Is Largely Built Into The Slope. The Flat Roof Of The Sports Hall Is Accessible Via Two Outside Stairs And A Connection To The Building Elevator For Barrier-Free Use As An Additional Open And Play Area. The Ventilation System Is Housed In Other Room Areas On The Roof, And A Photovoltaic System Is Placed On A Pergola. The New Building Will Be Of Conventional Solid Construction, 2-3 Storeys, With A Flat Roof. Basement Floor (Located Entirely On The Slope): Sports Hall, Equipment And Storage Rooms, Sanitary Rooms, Technology And Service Connection Room, External Escape Staircase. Ground Floor (Partly Located At Schoolyard Level): Main Entrance With Foyer, Air Space, Sports Hall, Changing Rooms, Pumi Common Areas, Technical Rooms, Pergola With Photovoltaics. Key Figures (From Building Application\/ Without Guarantee): Gross Floor Area\/ Gfa-R And Gfa-S Approx. 2,017 M², Converted Space\/ Bri-R And Bri-S Approx. 8,267 M³.
