Tenders are invited for Construction of Two Blocks of Two Classrooms each in Renk - Upper Nile State The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) was founded in 1947 as a global federation of Lutheran churches, united by a shared commitment to faith, service, and justice. Today, LWF represents 148 member churches in the Lutheran tradition, bringing together over 75.5 million Christians across 99 countries. LWFs engagement in South Sudan dates back to 1973, when it first established its presence in what was then the southern region of Sudan. The organization remained operational until 1983, when its activities were supported through related agencies such as the Sudan Ecumenical Council (SEC) and later the Church Ecumenical Action in Sudan (CEAS). In 2008, LWF was officially registered in South Sudan as LWF South Sudan, marking a new chapter in its long-standing commitment to serving vulnerable communities. Today, LWF South Sudan operates in Central Equatoria, Jonglei, Upper Nile, Ruweng Administrative Area, and Eastern Equatoria, implementing life-saving and resilience-building programs that promote dignity, justice, and sustainable development for all. Lutheran World Federation (LWF) plans to engage qualified companies for the Drilling of one Solarized Borehole, 5M3 Top Tank Stand Pipe in Twic East County-Jonglei State, and Construction of Two Blocks of Two Classrooms each in Renk - Upper Nile State as per the scope of work described below.
