Lethbridge Polytechnic Campus Est4 Fire Alarm Upgrades . This Project Intends To Complete The Migration Of The Existing Fire Alarm Network From An Est3 Copper Network To An Est4 Fibre Network. The Main Fibre Backbone Loop Has Already Been Installed Under A Previous Phase. This Phase Of Work Includes The Replacement Of The Existing Fire Alarm Control Panels, Installation Of Conduit And Patch Cabling To The Existing Fire Alarm Fibre Interconnection Cabinets, Connection Of Each New Est4 Panel To The Fibre Network, And Programming And Verification Of All Fire Alarm Devices. The Work Is To Be Carried Out In A Manner That Maintains Operation Of Both The Existing Copper Loop And The New Fibre Loop During The Transition Period, With Final Decommissioning Of The Copper Loop To Occur Only After The Full Est4 Fibre Network Is Operational.
