Tenders are invited for Communications, Digital Marketing & Branding Consultancy- Clyntech Context & Background Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and the company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon. Through the Clyntech Accelerator Program, startups received support to develop and validate their product or service, build their commercial foundations, and test their business model with early adopters. Having completed the Acceleration phase, the startups now entering the Incubator are focused on scaling their business and preparing for investment. The Clyntech Incubator Programs mission is to support early-stage cleantech startups that have completed the Acceleration phase and are ready to scale, by equipping them with the foundations needed to become investment-ready. The startups supported share three common characteristics: A disruptive scientific or technological focus in the Clean-tech sector. A validated product or service with early traction and the potential to scale beyond the local market. The capacity to attract investment and create sustainable job opportunities locally. Scope of work The Clyntech Incubator Program seeks to equip startup founders with a practical and actionable understanding of marketing, digital marketing, and branding. The goal is to give founders the tools, tips, and know-how they need to either execute basic marketing activities themselves or make informed decisions when working with or hiring a marketing expert based on their business model and what best fits their product. By the end of the workshop, each founder should have a clear sense of their brand positioning, a prioritized set of marketing channels relevant to their business, and a simple promotional approach they can act on immediately. Given the mixed profile of the cohort (covering product, hardware, software, and service-based businesses), examples and channel recommendations should be adapted to different business types throughout the session. This is to be achieved through a full-day workshop and up to 2 one-on-one clinics for up to 8 startups, based on their needs. The workshop will cover the following: 1. Branding Basics Understanding what a brand is and why it matters for a startup at this stage. Identifying a clear brand identity: name, tone, visual direction, and key message. Defining the startups positioning statement and key message in plain language. Common branding mistakes startups make and how to avoid them. 2. Marketing Fundamentals & Channel Overview Understanding the difference between marketing, digital marketing, and branding, and how they work together. Overview of key marketing channels: social media, email, content, paid ads, partnerships, and word of mouth. Identifying which channels make sense for each startup based on their product type, target customer, and resources. Tips and tricks for low-budget, high-impact marketing at the early stage. Understanding basic marketing metrics and what to track to know if something is working. 3. Digital Marketing in Practice How to build and manage a basic social media presence that is consistent and credible. Introduction to paid digital advertising: how it works, when it makes sense, and how to avoid wasting budget. Email marketing basics: building a list, what to send, and how often. Content tips: what to post, how to tell the product story online, and what formats work best. How to brief, evaluate, and work with a freelancer or agency if the founder chooses not to execute themselves. 4. Promoting Your Product Channel-specific promotion tactics: what works on social media, email, and in-person for different product and service types. Running a simple promotional campaign on a small budget: what to do, in what order, and how to know if it worked. Quick wins a founder can implement this week without a marketing team or big budget. Using partnerships, community, and word of mouth as low-cost promotional levers. The workshop should be practical and example-driven, with real tips and tools founders can apply immediately. The consultant will ensure that concepts covered during the workshop are built during the one-on-one clinics. In the clinics, the consultant will work with each founder on their specific marketing and communications context, and guiding them into building their marketing plan and setting the action plan for implementation. Following the first clinic, the expert will assess the need for a second session and provide a recommendation. This will be coordinated and agreed upon with the program team.
