Project: Tender21702 - Rehabilitation Of The Paudash Lake Dam . Request For Bids (Rfb) For Rehabilitation And Stabilization Of The Paudash Lake Dam. The Dam Is Located In The Township Of Faraday, County Of Hastings, At The Southeast Outlet Of Paudash Lake Approximately 14 Kilometers West Of Bancroft Scope Of Work The Purpose Of The Project Is To Preserve The Functionality And Extend The Useful Life Of The Dam. Condition Inspection And Dam Safety Studies Have Identified The Need For Repairs And Improvements. The Ministry Of Natural Resources Is Seeking A Contractor To Prepare A Laydown Area And Install Cofferdams, Rehabilitate The Concrete Dam And Steel Gates, And Install Post-Tensioned Anchors . The Scope Of Work Generally Includes: • Preparing General Site Access And Laydown Area. • Installing Temporary Work Platforms And Scaffolding. • Installing Temporary Environmental Controls And Cofferdams. • Clearing Of Trees And Vegetation In The Area Of Work. • Concrete Removals And Rehabilitation Of The: O Left Overflow Weir; O Right Gravity Wall; And O Operational Deck And Sluiceway Piers. • Installation Of Post-Tension Anchors In The Left Overflow Weir. • Installation Of A Lockable Gate. • Recoating Of Steel Gains. • Replacing Timber Stoplogs.
