Project: Tender21631 - Forest Lake Dam Rehabilitation Project . Request For Bids (Rfb) For The Provision Of Construction Service For The Ontario Ministry Of Natural Resources For The Rehabilitation Of The Forest Lake Dam, Approximately 60 Km Northwest Of Dryden, Ontario. Scope Of Work The Purpose Of The Project Is To Rehabilitate The Existing Dam To Ensure The Forest Lake Dam Remains In Safe Working Condition For An Additional 50 Years. The Contractor Shall Rehabilitate The Existing Dam In Accordance With The Requirements Set Out In The Agreement And Contract Documents, Without Limiting The Generality Of The Foregoing: (I) The Contractor Shall Design, Procure, And Install Sediment And Erosion Control, And Water Protection Measures For The Duration Of The Project; (Ii) The Contractor Shall Design, Procure, And Construct Cofferdam, Water Diversion Systems, And Dewatering Systems, As Required For Construction To Be Completed In The Dry; (Iii) The Contractor Shall Complete Repairs To The Existing Dam, Including Rehabilitation Of Existing Concrete Structure, Raising Of The Existing Concrete Wingwalls, Raising The Existing Roadway And New Railing, In Accordance With The Contract Documents; (Iv) The Contractor Shall Remove All Construction Waste, Debris And Materials In Accordance With Requirements Of The Law; (V) The Contractor Shall Remove The Environmental Controls And Restore The Site To Pre-Construction Conditions Or Better, To The Satisfaction Of The Contract Administrator. (Vi) Work Is Anticipated To Commence In The Spring Of 2026 And Be Completed By March 1, 2027
