The Ministry Of Water, Land And Resource Stewardships (Wlrs) Crown Contaminated Sites Program (Ccsp) Is Requesting Proposals From Qualified Contractors To Undertake Gully Stabilization Construction Works At The Sludge Pond Area Located At 1034 Copper Drive, Britannia Beach, Bc. The Objective Of This Engagement Is To Implement Permanent Slope Stabilization Measures Developed Through Recent Geotechnical Assessments.Interim Stabilization Measures, Including The Placement Of Geofabric In Late 2024, Are Currently In Place And Will Remain Until Commencement Of The Permanent Works. The Permanent Stabilization Design Includes, But Is Not Limited To, Installation Of Ground Anchors, Shotcrete Facing, Soil Nails, Erosion Control Matting, And Drainage Improvements To Enhance Long‑Term Slope Stability And Mitigate Erosion Risks Across The Upper And Lower Gully Slopes.The Successful Proponent Will Be Responsible For Providing All Labour, Materials, Equipment, And Temporary Works Necessary To Complete The Stabilization In Accordance With The Design Intent. Required Activities Include Safe Removal Of Tree Roots Along The Slope, Site Preparation, Installation Of Engineered Stabilization Components, And Coordination With Wlrs And Wsp Representatives Throughout The Duration Of The Project.
