Architectural, Engineering And Planning Services – Mo-Je Lávka: A New Connection Between The City, The Countryside And The Lake. The Subject Of The Competition Is The Design Of A New Pedestrian And Bicycle Bridge That Will Overcome The Historically Created Barrier Between The City Of Most And The Area Of ​​Todays Lake Most, Formed By The Confluence Of Road Infrastructure, Railway And Tram Lines And The Modified Bed Of The Bílina River. The Goal Is Not Only The Physical Connection Of Both Parts Of The City, But Also Their Symbolic And Mental Reunification. The Footbridge Is To Become A Key Element Of The New Urban Axis Connecting The City Center, The Museum, The Recreation Area Around The Lake And The Location Around The Relocated Church Of The Assumption Of The Virgin Mary; At The Same Time, It Will Become An Important Architectural Landmark And A New Gateway To The City When Arriving From Litvínov. Part Of The Competition Assignment Is Also The Design Of Connected Public Areas In The Forecourts Of The Footbridge. On The City Side, A New Museum Park Is To Be Created - A Dignified Forecourt Of The Museum, Which, In Mutual Synergy With Cultural Institutions And Memorial Sites, Will Create A High-Quality Urban Space With High Landscape, Residential And Social Value. On The Side Of The Lake, The Competition Proposals Are To Design A Landscape Connection And A Pedestrian And Cycling Connection Between The Footbridge And The Most Lake And To Design A Clear And Attractive Entry Point To This Area. The Addressed Area Is Divided Into Parts. The Subject Of The Subsequent Project Phase Is The Solution Of The Footbridge Itself Incl. Forecourt And The New Museum Park. At The Ideological Level, The Competition Proposals Are Intended To Examine The Possibility Of Creating A Wider Linear Park Connecting The Museum And The State District Archive, As Well As The Concept Of A Landscape Connection Towards Lake Most. The Goal Is To Create A Coherent, Legible And Long-Term Sustainable Framework For The Gradual Transformation Of This Key Territory. The Aim Of The Competition Is To Solve The Territory As A Whole And To Select One Multidisciplinary Team For The Design Of The Footbridge And The Park. However, In A Justified Case, The Jury May Decide On The Selection Of Two Separate Winners, Which May Lead To Subsequent Separate Non-Publication Proceedings (Jřbu) For The Footbridge And The Park.
