The National Development Corporation (CND) has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank to partially fund the cost of the Program to Support the Improvement of Transport Infrastructure Expenditure Quality in Uruguay, and intends to use a portion of the proceeds from this financing to make payments under the Contract detailed in the Request for Bids. 2. The Uruguayan Road Corporation (CVU) invites eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for the Public Works Contract for the Rehabilitation, Maintenance, and Financing of Road Infrastructure within the Public Domain Right-of-Way on Route 3, Circuit 2: km 243.000 km 354.800 Sustainable Asset Maintenance. The term of the Contract is 7 years. 3. The Request for Bids (RFB) will be conducted in accordance with the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures set forth in the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) publication titled *Policies for the Procurement of Goods and Works Financed by the Inter-American Development Bank*, and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries, as defined in the bidding document. 4. Qualification requirements include: a track record in contracts of similar characteristics, technical capacity and equipment, and financial capacity, among others. 5. Interested Bidders may obtain a complete set of the Bidding Documents, provided they are registered in the CVU Suppliers Registry, which is available on the website at the following link: https://www.cvu.com.uy/Index#/registro-proveedores-empresas-obras-viales-cvu. Furthermore, the cost of the bidding documents is $60,000 (sixty thousand Uruguayan pesos), and the purchase thereof must be made via bank transfer; for this purpose, interested companies must be registered in advance. 6. The Bid Maintenance Guarantee (GMO) must be furnished no later than 5:00 PM (17:00 hours) on the business day immediately preceding the bid submission deadline. It must be delivered to the Contracting Entitys address for approval and shall remain deposited in the Contracting Entitys custody. A receipt acknowledging the deposit shall be issued; however, this receipt shall serve solely as proof of the documents physical reception and shall not constitute an acceptance thereof. The Bidder assumes full responsibility for ensuring compliance with all requirements, as well as for any consequences that may arise in the event of non-compliance.
