General Procurement Notice for Consultancy for Sme Investment Readiness Ignite Capital PLC has received a grant funding from the African Development Bank to finance Ignite-Financing the Missing Middle. Specifically, the funding supports the scaling up of the Ignite Equity Investment Crowdfunding innovation to finance Ethiopian SMEs in particular through targeting the African diaspora remittances. 2. The Project aims to unlock capital for Ethiopian SMEs through capacity building for equity crowdfunding. The Project supports Ignite Capital, a female-owned SME, to enhance SME investment readiness to access diaspora and angel investment funding through crowdfunding channels, and contributes to the development of a regulatory framework for crowdfunding in Ethiopia. 3. The project includes the following components: Component 1 SME Investment Readiness Support the development of a pipeline of investment-ready, growth-stage SMEs across selected regions in Ethiopia. Deliver targeted coaching, mentorship, and capacity building through Business Development Service Providers and in-house support. Enhance SME operational capacity and prepare key investment documentation (business plans, financials, pitch materials, valuations). Improve deal quality and facilitate SME access to equity financing through Ignite Investments platform. Strengthen SME understanding of equity investment practices, including governance and exit strategies. Strengthening SME capabilities in governance, strategic planning, market readiness, and value addition. Component 2 Ignite Capacity Building Strengthen Ignite Capitals institutional, innovation, and outreach capacities to support platform growth.
