Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Needs Assessment, Valuation and Supervision for Social Infrastructure Rehabilitation for the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has received a loan from the African Development Bank (AfDB) towards the cost for the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project (ABSIIDP) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for Consultancy Services for Needs Assessment, Valuation and Supervision for Social Infrastructure Rehabilitation for the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project (ABSIIDP). ABSIIDPs objective is to contribute to socio-economic development, poverty reduction through improved road transport infrastructure to reduce road maintenance costs, vehicle operating cost and travel time. A key component of ABSIIDP involves the rehabilitation of social infrastructure such as public schools, Primary Health Care Centres (PHCs), community markets, water supply boreholes, etc., with the objective of enhancing service delivery, public health outcomes, educational quality, and local economic development across local government areas which the ABSIIDP cuts across. The specific objectives of the assignment include: (i) To conduct detailed technical and condition assessments of identified social infrastructure facilities (schools, PHCs, and markets); (ii) To prepare compliant and cost-effective rehabilitation designs, tender documents, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities; Tender Link : https://www.afdb.org/en/projects-and-operations/procurement
