The Municipality Of Rheden Owns And Manages Several Artificial Grass Sports Fields. In 2026, 2 Artificial Grass Football Fields Will Need To Have Their Top Layer Replaced. This Concerns Field 3 At Sportpark De Pinkenberg (Rozendaal) And Field 1 At Sportpark Het Nieuwland (Dieren). The Current Fields Are Sbr (Rubber) Infill Fields. The Municipality Wants To Replace These With Mineral Infill Fields (Suitable For Multisport And Approved By The Knvb). The Municipality Is Therefore Acting In Line With The European Ban On The Purchase And Sale Of Rubber Infill From 2031.
