Alterations Include Moving Existing Double Doors To Form A New Lobby, A New Glass Door In The East Wall And Some Minor Alterations To The First Floor. Repairs To Sources Of Water Ingress (Provisional). Services Will Include Electrical - Additional Lighting, Heater, Water Heater, Extract Fan; Water Services And Drainage Outfall From New Wc To Adjoining School System. The Cathedral Is A Protected Structure On The Record Of Protected Structures Of The Waterford City And County Development Plan. It Is Also Listed As A National Monument In The Record Of Monuments And Places. It Is Rated As A Building Of National Importance. Because It Is A Building Of National Importance And A Protected Structure, The Contractors Submitting Tenders Must Have A Suitable Level Of Experience In Conservation Work.
