The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Implement The Construction Of An Artificial Nest In Front Of Porvoo On The Island Of Kråko To Promote Nesting Opportunities For Seagulls In Particular. The Procurement Is Carried Out As Part Of The Helmi Living Environment Program. The Renovation Work Will Be Carried Out In Accordance With The Permits Issued By The Regional Administration Office And Häme Ely Center, Plans Prepared By Insinööritoimisto Jami Aho Oy, As Well As The Contract Program And Safety Documents. Skjärsten Islet Is Located In Porvoo In The Northwestern Part Of Stensbölefjärden Between Kråkö And Sikosaari. Skjårstenens Islet Is Part Of The Porvoonjoki Estuary–Stensböle Natura 2000 Area, And It Is An Important Nesting Place, Especially For The Endangered Laughing Gull. The Goal Of The Project Is To Improve Nesting Conditions By Raising And Expanding The Islet With Stone Material. A Protective Rock Wall Will Be Built On The Island And Structures Will Be Placed To Provide Shelter For The Nesting Birds. The Measures Are Part Of The Helmi Habitat Program And They Promote The Conservation Goals Of The Natura 2000 Area And Are In Accordance With The National Bird Water Conservation Program. The Goal Is To Increase The Number Of Nesting Laughing Gulls And Also Attract Other Waterfowl To The Area. More Detailed Plans, Permit Documents And The Technical Documents Of The Contract Are Presented In The Attachments. The Renovation Work Must Be Carried Out In Accordance With The Plans And The Water Permit Issued By The Regional Administration Office And The Exception Permit Issued By The Häme Ely Center. The Bidder Must Participate In The Presentation Event (Teams) Held During The Bid Phase. Two Events With The Same Content Will Be Held, The First Of Which Is On April 9, 2026 From 9:00 A.M. To 10:00 A.M. And The Second On April 14, 2026 From 2:00 P.M. To 3:00 P.M. Participating In One Of The Two Events Is Enough To Fulfill The Requirement To Familiarize Yourself With The Project. You Must Register For The Events By 12:00 The Day Before At The Latest To The Address Mikko.Koho@Elinvoimakeskus.Fi. The Participants Name And Company Name/Business Id Must Be Mentioned In The Registration. After Registration, Registration And Participation Links To The Event Will Be Sent To Those Who Have Registered. Participation In The Presentation Is Mandatory So That The Offer Is Valid If You Want To Make An Offer. Work On The Site Must Start No Later Than 15 October 2026 And The Work Must Be Received In Its Entirety And Approved By 31 March 2027.
