1. The Subject Of The Order Is The Conservation Renovation Of The Roof Along With Thermal Modernization And Accompanying Works In The Building Of The Silesian Library In Katowice At Ul. Francuska 12. 2. By Decision Of October 31, 1991, The Building Was Entered Into The Register Of Monuments As A Cultural Asset. 3. The Scope Of Works Includes: A) Setting Up The Scaffolding, B) Demolition Works - Disassembly And Disposal Of Inspection Doors, Roof Hatches, Existing Gutters And Downpipes, Sheet Metal Flashings, Skylights, Chimneys, Ventilation Chimneys, Lightning Protection System, Ladders, C) Preparatory Works - Preparing Walls For Thermal Insulation And Plastering Works (Including Chipping The Plaster), Cutting And Puncturing The Existing Roof Covering, Widening The Opening For A Larger Roof Hatch, D) Moving The Air Conditioning Units To A New Layer Of Roof Covering With The Installation Of New Spacers, E) Insulating The Horizontal Expansion Joints, Walls And Main Roof, F) Making The Roof Covering, Finishing The Edges - Isoclines, Underlayment And Weldable Felt, Pvc Diffusers, G) Assembly Works - Installation Of Fireplaces, Exhaust Vents And Ventilation Grilles, New Roof Passages, Hatch Roof, Inspection Doors, Skylights (With Overlaying Of The Bases), Gutters, Valleys And Downpipesh) Raising The Outlets Of Steel Chimneys By Extending The Channels And Installing New Caps,I) Profiling Of Attics, Wall Tops,J) Renovation, Processing The Edges Of The Roof And Parapet Of The Neighboring Building,K) Renovation Of Chimneys - Removing Rotten And Loose Plaster, Drilling Holes, Plastering Works, Painting, Concreting Of Caps,L) Installation Of A New Lightning Protection System Together With Tests And Measurements,M) Execution Of External Plasters,N) Painting Of Recreated Plaster Surfaces With Emulsion Paints And Façade Paints,O) Execution And Installation Of Sheet Metal Flashings,P) Delivery And Installation Of New Ladders, Including One With A Protective Basket And A Padlocked Entry Block,Q) Preparation And Submission Of Roof Snow Removal Instructions,R) Preparation And Submission Of Complete Documentation As-Built.4. All Works Will Be Carried Out In The Building, Which Will Be Constantly Used By Employees Of The Silesian Library, People Using The Library Resources, And Tenants Of The Buildings Rooms. The Library Building Is Located Close To The Main Pedestrian Routes. Therefore, It Is Essential To Ensure The Safety Of People Who Will Use Library Services During The Works, People Working In The Library As Well As Other People Staying In The Vicinity Of The Construction Works.5.
