Project Description:1. The Existing Ct Scanner At Kootenay Lake Hospital Has Reached The End Of Its Service Life And Will Be Replaced With New Equipment. The Project Includes Renovations To The Existing Space To Accommodate The New Ct Scanner And Comply With Current Radiation And Patient‑Handling Safety Standards.Project Scope Also Includes (But Not Limited To):• Patch And Repair Existing Flooring As Required To Suit The New Layout And Equipment Installation And Repaint As Required. Also, Add Wall Protection.• Retrofit The Existing Door Assembly To Meet Current Operational And Safety Requirements.• Upgrade Electrical And Mechanical To Accommodate The New Equipment.• Remove The A/C Split Units And Upgrade Existing Hvac System To Address New Equipment Cooling Specifications Including Integration With Building Management System.• Upgrade The Hand Hygiene Sink To Current Healthcare Standards.• Replace Utility Sink Faucet With Goose Neck Faucet With Blade Tabs.• Upgrade Existing Lighting To Meet Clinical Requirements And Improve Energy Efficiency.• Remove And Re-Install Patient Lift System.2. Contractor Is To State The Number Of Weeks To Achieve Ready-For-Takeover3.
