The Town Of Fox Creek Is Seeking Proposals For The Provision Of Residential Waste Collection Services For Approximately 683 Dwelling Units. The Successful Proponent Will Be Responsible For Providing All Labour, Equipment, Supervision, Transportation, And Incidentals Required To Collect And Transport Residential Garbage, Recycling, And Seasonal Yard Waste Within The Town. Garbage Collection Under The Proposed Contract Is Intended To Transition From The Town’S Current Manual Collection System To An Automated Cart-Based Collection System Utilizing Standardized Wheeled Carts. Proponents Are Required To Provide Pricing For Both 240 L (65 Gallon) And 360 L (95 Gallon) Carts Or Similar Sizes, Including Options For Proponent-Supplied Carts Or A Rent-To-Own Arrangement Where Ownership Transfers To The Town At The Conclusion Of The Initial Five Year Contract Term.Residential Recycling Services Will Be Collected At Curbside And Will Continue To Be Collected Manually Using Blue Plastic Recycling Bags Placed At The Designated Collection Location. Recycling Collection Will Remain In Place Until End Of Day On September 30, 2026. Proponents Must Identify The Recycling Processing Or Disposal Facility Where Recyclable Materials Will Be Transported During This Period. In Addition To Garbage And Recycling Collection, The Proponent Will Provide Seasonal Collection Of Leaves And Grass Clippings During The Spring And Summer Months.All Garbage Collection And The Grass And Leaves Collection Will Either Be Transported To The Greenview Regional Landfill, Located At 20570 Township Road 672, Municipal District Of Greenview No. 16, Alberta Or The Fox Creek Transfer Station, Located At 324 1 Ave, Fox Creek, Alberta, As Directed By The Town. Landfill Tipping Fees At The Greenview Regional Landfill Will Be Billed Directly To The Town. The Current Collection Schedules And Routes Will Be Reviewed With The Successful Proponent Prior To The Commencement Of Services And May Be Adjusted To Improve Operational Efficiency And Service Delivery.
