A New Testing And Piloting Environment Serving Business, Research And Training In The Water Sector Will Be Built In The Underground Hall Next To The Mikkeli Wastewater Treatment Plant. The R&D Environment To Be Built Includes Testing Lines For New Water Technologies With Measuring Equipment, An Information Platform For The Development Of Digital Services, And Other Necessary Infrastructure. The Testing Lines Are Suitable For Both Clean And Wastewater Treatment Processes. In The Test Line, It Is Planned To Carry Out Several Different Pilot Projects Utilizing The Currents Derived From The Different Stages Of The Wastewater Treatment Plant. The R&D Environment Also Serves Educational Institutions In Research And Training. The Solutions Must Be Modifiable And Modular So That They Can Be Modified According To Needs. The Construction Will Take Place In Bem Tki-Infra - The New Rdi Environment Of The Blue Economy Mikkeli Competence Center - A Project Financed By The Southern Savo Regional Association. The Project Is Part Of The Innovative And Competent Finland 2021-2027 Program (Jtf). The First Phase Of The Test Line Has Been Built And Put Into Operation. Now The Line Is Being Expanded With A Research Line, Which Can Be Both Connected To The Current Line And Used Independently. Because The Procurement Schedule Is Tight, The Procurement Is Divided Into Four Smaller And Independent Sub-Areas. Each Sub-Area Can Be Offered Separately. The Bidder Can Submit A Bid In One Or More Sub-Areas. The Most Economically Advantageous Accepted Offer For Each Sub-Area Is The Winner Of The Sub-Area (Target). Sub-Areas To Be Procured: 1. Additional Process Equipment For The Existing Research Line 2. Treatment Level For Process Equipment And Pilots 3. Independent Precipitation-Flocculation Equipment 4. 2 Multi-Purpose Tanks Procurement Entities Are Described And Specified In Appendices 1–5. These Also Specify Which Items Are Included In The Package To Be Delivered, And Which Items Remain The Customers Responsibility.
