Railway Construction Works – Renaturation - Connection Of 3 Oxbow Lakes To The Kinzig In Gelnhausen. As Part Of The Fulda – Frankfurt (M) Expansion Line Project, Plan Approval Section 5.16, The Implementation Of The Compensation Measures M5-New, M6-New And M7-New Is Necessary. These Include The Reconnection Of Three Backwater Areas On The Kinzig South Of Gründau-Rothenbergen. The Execution Of These Three Measures Includes Excavation Of Existing Earth Dams (Approx. 3500 M³ In Total) And Piping, Removal Of The Resulting Excavated Earth/Demolition Material, Modeling In The Terrain And Bank Area (500 M³ Excavated Earth), Introduction Of Flow Guides And Planting Of Trees. In Addition, Two Piped Culverts And An Unpaved Path As Well As The Installation Of Access Roads And Driveways Are To Be Constructed. The Felling Has Already Been Carried Out, Rootstocks Still Have To Be Removed.
