Description: As a Class1 facility, JRCGeel is required by environmental legislation (e.g., VLAREMII, DABM) to appoint an Environmental Coordinator. In addition, because the site is EMASregistered, it must meet a set of supplementary obligations. Consequently, JRCGeel must hire a qualified and experienced level A Environmental Coordinator (who can perform the compulsory duties set out in DABM and VLAREMII and fulfil additional EMAS requirements. This coordinator will also handled legal compliance tasks, ensuring that JRCGeel operates in line with all applicable Flemish, Belgian and European environmental regulations.
