These Services Ensure Compliance With The Control Of Dogs Act And Safeguard Animal Welfare And Public Safety. Areas Of Responsibility Will Fall Under The Following Categories: • Facility - Secure, Clean Kennels; Adequate Capacity; Safe Environment • Dog Care – Daily Feeding, Exercise, Cleaning, Welfare Monitoring • Dog Health Services - Treatment, Vaccinations, Microchipping, Humane Euthanasia (When Necessary At 3Rd Party Veterinary Practice) • Public Interface - Managing Dog Reclaims And Rehoming; Communication • Legal Compliance - Record Keeping, Adherence To Dog Control Laws • Coordination - Work Closely With Dog Wardens And Council Staff
