Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Jürgen Schumann Barracks, Building 28, Implementation Of Fire Protection Concept - Specialist Planning And Structural Planning. Building 28 Is To Receive Extensive Structural Renovation And Restructuring During Ongoing Operations. The Aim Of The Measure Is The Functional, Design And Fire Protection Renewal While At The Same Time Taking Monument Protection Into Account. Building 28 Was Built In 1994 As A Classroom Building With Dimensions L/W/H = Approx. 130.0 M / Approx. 30.0 M / Approx. 10.0 M In The Ridge. The Foundation Was As A Pile Foundation With A Beam Grid. The Building Does Not Have A Basement. It Has A Ground Floor And An Upper Floor. The Outer Shell Of The Building Represents An Aircraft, Divided Into 2 “Wings” And A Building Core As An “Aircraft Fuselage”. The Teaching Halls Are Located On The Ground Floor And Upper Floor Of The “Wings” Parts Of The Building, While The Functional Areas Are Located In The Core Of The Building. The Core Of The Building Is Separated From The Classroom Areas (“Wings”) By Two Building Joints. The Buildings Bracing Is Ensured By Reinforced Concrete And Masonry Walls As Well As Reinforced Concrete Ceiling Panels. Checked Static Inventory Documents For The Building Are Available. As Part Of The Implementation Of The Fire Protection Concept, The Toilet Areas And A New Ventilation System Are To Be Installed. This Requires A Large Number Of Larger Openings In The Supporting Structure/Stiffening Wall Panels And In The Star Ceilings. To Convert The Toilet Areas, The Load-Bearing Interior Walls Should Be Moved. Eligible Costs For Cost Group 300 Are Approximately €2,084,986 And For Cost Group 400 Are Approximately €8,728,143.
