Primary School Construction Work – Expansion Of Elementary School Egilsbraut 35. It Is An Extension To The Existing Primary School In Þorlákshöfn. The Building Has Two Floors With A Technical Space On The Roof. The Gross Area Is 1,502.9 M² And The Gross Volume Is 6,660.7 M³. The Building Will Have Classrooms, Specialist Labs (Construction, Textiles, Art And Science), Library, Leisure, Multi-Purpose Space, Support Space, Storage And Toilets. An Elevator And Full Access Are Provided. The Building Is Designed For Up To 150 Students. The Bearing System Is Mainly For Cast-In-Place Concrete. The Exterior Walls Are Insulated From The Outside And Covered With Ventilated Cladding. Roofs Are Insulated And Waterproofed. The Work Must Meet The Requirements Of Building Regulations, Standards And Design Data, I.A. On Fire Protection, Accessibility, Acoustics And Occupancy.
