Turku Energia Is Investigating The Location Of The Water Tank Used For The Storage Of District Heating And District Cooling Water (Later The Hybrid Battery) In Turkus Kupitta And Itäharju Areas. The Hybrid Battery Would Store District Heating Water In The Winter, And District Cooling Water In The Summer. Cylindrical Insulated Steel Tank, Target Dimensions: Diameter 22M, Height 44M. Empty Weight Of The Tank With Equipment And Insulated Approx. 600T. + Water Mass 15,000T. In Addition To The Battery Tank, An Auxiliary Building For Process Equipment Will Be Located In The Immediate Vicinity. Approximately 400 – 500M2. Main Criteria For The Construction Site: The Site Must Be Located Inside The Area Delimited In The Map Appendix.
