This Call For Tender Relates To The Provision Of Audio Visual, Animation And Festival Production And Delivery Services For Lú Festival Of Light. The Contracting Authority Invites Tenders From Experienced Creative Studios, Lighting Designers, Projection Mapping Specialists, And Multidisciplinary Event Production Companies For The Creative Design, Animation Production, Technical Delivery, And Management Of Lighting Installations For The Lú Festival Of Light. The Festival Will Take Place In Drogheda From 23Rd – 26Th October 2026 And Will Animate The Historic Town Centre Through Light-Based Storytelling Experiences Celebrating Drogheda’S Architecture, Mythology, Heritage, And Cultural Identity. The Festival Will Transform A Series Of Historic Locations Into An Immersive Evening Walking Route Of Light, Projection, And Artistic Installations, Encouraging Visitors To Explore Drogheda’S Town Centre. The Festival Aims To: • Enhance The Evening Economy • Increase Visitor Footfall In The Town Centre • Promote Drogheda As A Cultural Tourism Destination • Deliver Memorable And Authentic Visitor Experiences • Encourage Movement Through A Curated Festival Route Creative Proposals Must Prioritise Storytelling, Architectural Sensitivity, And Distinctive Visitor Experiences, Combining Spectacle With Intimate Artistic Installations. The Successful Tenderer Will Be Responsible For The Integrated Creative Direction, Animation Production, Lighting Design, Technical Delivery, Installation, And Operation Of Lighting Installations Across Key Festival Sites. Tenderers Must Demonstrate The Capacity To Deliver Creative Design, Bespoke Animation Production, Projection Mapping, Architectural Lighting, And Technical Production Management Under A Unified Creative Vision. The Contract Includes: • Creative Concept Development And Artistic Direction, • Bespoke Projection Mapping Animation Production • Architectural Lighting Design • Light-Based Immersive Installations • Technical Production Planning And Equipment Provision • Installation, Rigging, And Infrastructure Delivery • Power Distribution And Technical Integration • Event Safety Planning And Documentation • Site Coordination And Stakeholder Management • Operational Management During Festival Hours • De-Installation And Site Restoration • Social Media Content Creation And Digital Promotion Support Street Performance Programming Will Be Commissioned Separately By Love Drogheda Bid But Should Visually And Conceptually Integrate With The Festival Lighting Route.
