Tender For Work To Be Executed Through An External Agency Within The Jurisdiction Of Electricity Distribution Divisions I, Ii, And Iii, Loni (Under The Electricity Distribution Circle, Loni), Involving The Detection Of Faults In Underground 33 Kv And 11 Kv Cables Using A Cable Fault Detector, Followed By Necessary Repairs And Restoration Of Power Supply; The Scope Of Work Covers The Rectification Of An Estimated 110 Faults In 33 Kv Cables And 150 Faults In 11 Kv Cable- 1 Fault Identification & Pin-Pointing: Locating And Pin-Pointing Of Fault In 33 Kv Xlpe Cable By Sectionalizing, Testing, Thumping, Route Tracing Etc., Including Arranging Shutdown, Necessary T&P, Manpower And Submission Of Test Results, Complete To The Satisfaction Of Area Incharge. 2 Excavation (Digging), Backfilling & Restoration: Excavation Of Trench/Pit Of Required Size & Depth Including Cutting Of Road Surface (Earthen/Wbm/Bituminous/Cc/Tiles), Barricading, Traffic Diversion, Dewatering And Protection Of Nearby Services. After Completion Of Work, Backfilling In Layers With Proper Compaction And Restoration Of Site/Road To Original Condition As Per Authority Norms. Any Settlement During Defect Liability Period Shall Be Rectified By The Contractor At His Own Cost. 3 Providing & Fixing Of Straight-Through Joint: Supply And Installation Of Required Type Of Straight-Through (Pvvnl Approved Make Will Be Provided By The Contractor) Joint For 33 Kv Cable Of Suitable Size Including Cutting Of Cable, Ferruling, Connectors, Sleeves, Armour Bonding, Earthing, Insulation/Resistance Testing And Commissioning, Complete. 4 Providing & Fixing Of Indoor/Outdoor Termination: Supply And Installation Of Indoor Or Outdoor End Termination/Cable Box For 33 Kv Cable Including Glands, Lugs, Heat Shrink Kits, Earthing, Testing And Commissioning, Complete. 5 Cable Replacement: Laying And Jointing Of 33 Kv Xlpe Cable Of Required Size In Excavated Trench Including Sand Cushioning, Brick/Protective Cover, Etc. For Length Up To 50 Meters Or As Directed By Engineer-In-Charge.
