Tenders are invited for 13" x 9" White Bond, Two-sided with holes, Non-Printed Continuous Certificate Paper (Daham Pasal) (100 GSM) 60 Packets (1000 Sheets Per Packet) INVITATION FOR BIDS DEPARTMENT OF EXAMINATIONS Procurement of Supplying Printed and Non-Printed Computer Papers for the Year of 2026 Contract No.: 4/10/02/2026 1. The Chairman of the Department Procurement Committee, on behalf of the Commissioner General of Examinations, invites sealed bids for the procurement of supplying printed and non-printed computer sheets described in the table below, from eligible and qualified bidders who possess the minimum experience mentioned below. Details are included in the bidding document. 5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Supply Division, 3rd Floor, Department of Examinations (Telephone: 011-2786200-238 or 0112785219) and inspect the bidding documents free of charge from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on working days until April 8, 2026 6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders from the Supply Division upon submission of a written application with a copy of the business registration letter at or before 2:30 pm on 08/04/2026 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,250.00 (Five Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty) for each document. Payment must be made in cash. 7. Bids shall be valid for 91 days (until 09/07/2026). 8. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Sri Lankan Rs. 177,000.00 (One Hundred Seventy Seven Thousand Rupees) unconditional bank guarantee from a reputable commercial bank operating in Sri Lanka, in the format attached to the bidding documents, and must be valid for 119 days from the date of closing of bids (until 06/08/2026). 9. Bids must be delivered to the Supply Division, 3rd Floor, Department of Examinations, Pelawatta, Battaramulla on or before 09/04/2026 at 2:30 p.m. Late bids will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend in person at the address given above after the closing of bids. 10. Duly filled and sealed bids marked "Procurement of Supplying Printed and Non-Printed Computer Papers for the Year of 2026, Contract No.: 4/10/2/2026" on the top left-hand corner of the envelope should be submitted 11. The Department Procurement Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to cancel the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to awarding the contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder(s) or any obligation to inform the affected bidder(s) of the grounds for the Department Procurement Committees action.
