The Winterthur Cantonal Hospital (Ksw) Intends To Introduce A New Integrated It Service Management System (Itsm) In Order To Sustainably Optimize The Efficiency, Transparency And Quality Of It Services. The Existing System Is Approaching The End Of Life (Eol) And Only Meets The Requirements For A Modern, Scalable And Future-Proof Itsm To A Limited Extent. In Particular, The Core Processes Implemented In The Current Tool Are Sometimes Highly Individualized And Not Consistently Implemented According To Itil Best Practices. The New Procurement Is Intended To Introduce A Standardized Itsm Tool That Comprehensively Supports Itil Practices Version 4 And Enables Transparent And Comprehensible Mapping Of Itil Processes. Particular Emphasis Is Placed On The Use Of Standard Processes In Order To Increase Maintainability, Reduce Adjustment Efforts And Ensure Long-Term Further Development. The New Itsm System Is Intended To Map The Entire Life Cycle Of It Services And Support The Specific Requirements Of A Hospital In Terms Of Availability, Security, Compliance And Traceability. In Addition, The System Should Be Flexibly Expandable In Order To Take Future Organizational, Technological And Regulatory Developments Into Account.
