The Case Management Of The City Of Turku Is Planning The Purchase Of Digitizing Equipment And Is Asking For Information On Different Options. Digitizing Equipment Refers To Large Image, Document And Book Scanners With Software. Procurement Goals: Necessary Equipment, All Of Which Must Be Capable Of Digitizing Quality In Accordance With The National Archives Guidelines And Up-To-Date Pas Specifications:- 150 Centimeter Wide Large Image Scanner- 120 Centimeter Wide Large Image Scanner- Book Scanner With Half Of The Image Plane Adjustable (Angle And Height) And Capable Of Scanning At Least 10-Centimeter Bindings- A Document Scanner That Can Scan A4-Sized Documents In Bundles (And Which Can Also Be Connected To A Flatbed Scanner) Necessary Software/Requirements For The Software:- The Customer Currently Has Batch Scan Wizard Scanning Software- If The Devices Offered Do Not Support Batch Scan Wizard, It Must Be Possible To Extract Technical Metadata From The Devices Software In Exif Format So That, Using Batch Scan Wizard, It Is Possible To Create Documents In Accordance With The Instructions Of The National Archives Xml Files- Ocr Feature Maintenance And Operation Support:- Maintenance And Operation Support Available Throughout The Contract For Both Scanners And Software- The Devices Must Have On-Site Maintenance With A Response Time Of No More Than 14 Days From The Failure Notification- User Training In Finnish Timetable:- Devices And Software For Use From The Beginning Of November 2026 The Devices Must Have The Possibility Of Trial Use/Return After The Trial That Took Place In The Premises Of The City Of Turku.
