In Implementation Of The Demonstration Project - Innovative Solutions For Green Infrastructure, The Municipality Of Gabrovo Implements Measures Related To The Utilization Of Rainwater For Watering The Existing Vegetation In The Central Part Of The City. The Main Objective Is To Replace The Use Of Drinking Water For Irrigation Needs In A Sustainable Way, Through Alternative Water Sources. The Project Envisages The Reconstruction And Remodeling Of An Existing Public Building Into A Collection Tank And A Technical Room, In Which To Install Pumping And Control Equipment, As Well As The Necessary Fittings And Measuring Devices. Rainwater Collected From The Roof Of The Racho Stoyanov Drama Theater And Water Quantities From The Sinkevitsa River, Supplied By A Newly Built Water-Ground Facility, Will Enter The Catchment Tank. To Achieve The Goal, It Is Provided: Construction Of A Drainage Water Intake From Surface Waters Of The Sinkevitsa River; Collecting Rainwater From The Roof Of The Drama Theater Building; Adaptation Of An Existing Building Into A Pumping Station With A Water Tank; Powering The Pumps Through A Photovoltaic System; Construction Of A Centralized System For Managing The Pumping Room And Irrigation Systems; Optimization Of Existing Irrigation Systems And Construction Of A New One In The Non-Irrigated Area. The Full Scope Of The Public Procurement Is Described In The Instructions, Technical Specification, Draft Contract And In Accordance With The Prepared And Approved Investment Project.
